There’s nothing like the pride of a mother.
When it comes to sports, Sherine’s got it going on: she walks and runs in the summer, goes downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter. She just likes to move, it’s that simple. The only hard part is finding enough time to do all the sports she loves. A true leader, Sherine is pulled in many directions: by her demanding career, her deep desire to be a caring mom, and her need to keep moving. But somehow, she manages to balance them all quite well.
Sherine also likes to take long walks in nature with her 16-year-old daughter—for the exercise, of course, but mostly for the quality time. It's one of the few moments when the two of them are alone and can truly connect. So, it’s little wonder that they’re both looking forward to the FitSpirit Mother/Daughter Challenge as another great opportunity to bond around the love of sports and of one another, as they train for this exciting event.
As Vice President Business Financial Services for RBC Royal Bank, Sherine is highly involved in the community. And, once again this year, she’ll be participating as Patron of Honour in the Urban BBQ in support of the Cancer Research Society. She’s also Honorary President of the 2021 Estim Gala for the East Montreal Chamber of Commerce, and mentors in the Governance of Women program. But no matter how busy she is with her various commitments; she always gives her daughter her very best. It’s true that being a mother is her most demanding role, but it’s also the most rewarding.
