A positive role model for young girls
Marie-Christine takes serious issue with the fact that current female role models reflect a skewed image of reality. What’s worse, those distorted images are hard to avoid on social media. Thankfully, this leading dedicated professional sees a way to counter those unhealthy messages with regular physical activity, practiced with caring people in a positive, encouraging environment.A woman of sound heart and mind, Marie-Christine only really discovered the pleasures of physical activity after becoming a mother. And she wishes she’d done it earlier. Today, she knows in her body and soul that sports are essential to her balance.
With three teenage girls in her daily life, she knows how being active can offer them many benefits related to physical and mental health, as well as self-esteem. Thanks to her participation in the FitSpirit Mother/Daughter Challenge, Marie-Christine hopes to give her girls a vital gift by encouraging them to adopt and maintain good habits throughout their lives.

In addition to practicing law and being a busy mom, Marie-Christine has long been involved with organizations dedicated to fostering greater well-being, health and knowledge among young girls and women. One good example is the Montreal Diet Dispensary, where Marie-Christine has been volunteering for the past couple years, helping them pursue their mission of supporting pregnant women in vulnerable situations.
For a few years early on, Marie-Christine put her law career on hold to be a full-time mother. Today, she’s an outstanding and inspirational role model, a woman who makes ample time for both.
