Love and children: foremost in her heart.
Viviane has always been a sports enthusiast, immersing herself in competitive swimming from an early age. Over the years, her athletic pursuits helped developed a host of qualities that continue to benefit her today, like discipline, perseverance and physical ability. In Vivian’s words, “The body is the only thing that accompanies us every day of our lives. So, it’s vital that we understand how it works and care for it properly so it serves us well.” And, while she no longer competes, Viviane has always maintained an interest in sports and fitness.
True, as we get older, that’s not always easy, but Viviane found a way to integrate sports into her professional and family life so that all three could co-exist. Today, she has three kids, including two daughters aged 3 and 12. And for Viviane, it’s important that that her daughters develop an interest in physical activity and discover the sports they like best so they keep moving throughout their entire lives. It’s one of the many reasons Viviane decided to take part in the FitSpirit Mother/Daughter Challenge with her eldest, Erika. For this mother-daughter duo, the challenge represents a great opportunity to set a common goal and share the sense of pride that comes from physical achievement.
As Vice President, National Accounts at TD Commercial Banking Services, Viviane has also been involved on the board of directors of The Lighthouse for Children and Families for many years. Not one to rest on her laurels, she’ll be actively involved in the 2021 fundraising campaign to finance the new sports complex at Collège Notre-Dame. When she does take a break to look back at her accomplishments, this committed woman realizes that health and children have always been foremost among the causes that are dear to her heart.
