FitSpirit is pleased to present this team's leader as part of the 2022 edition of the FitSpirit Mother/Daughter Challenge:
Danielle Danault
Founder
A passion for physical activity and philanthropy
Danielle is a sports enthusiast through and through. Since a young age, she has been training and will undoubtedly continue to do so her entire life. She is also the head of a pioneering organization she founded 22 years ago, and today, she is surrounded by 50 franchisees who help keep 30,000 people physically fit through movement every year.As a busy entrepreneur, Danielle knows that sports are a vital outlet for the stress that comes with the business world. She is convinced that without sports and regular physical activity, she never would have been able to get through the crises caused by the pandemic, like closing her centres for almost eight months, leaving her entire team without income. However, because she is fundamentally an optimistic and resilient person, Danielle found creative solutions that helped her navigate the troubled waters of our times to keep her organization afloat.
Danielle is also a powerful agent of change who cares for the well-being of adults. She also wants to do more to help steer young people in the right direction by introducing them to the benefits of movement, most notably through the FitSpirit Mother/Daughter Challenge. Therefore, this year, she will be taking part in the event with her cosmic sister, Paola, whom she met five years ago through the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Association of Greater Montreal. These two women often get together to go swimming and hiking. The Challenge will be another great opportunity for Danielle to stay fit while spending quality time with her sister.
"I want to take part in the challenge with Danielle because staying active and healthy is an immense source of happiness and joy." – Paola
Danielle is a remarkable businesswoman and a committed philanthropist who has always believed in the importance of giving. For years, she has been actively involved in several causes devoted to health and physical activity, including her roles as Ambassador for the Canadian Cancer Society, Honorary Co-Chair of the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada's Walk of Hope and Spokesperson for TOUGO, a role she continues to play to this day.
